Court issued non-bailable warrant against Sridevi

Birbal singh Rana, who filled a petition against Sri devi and Boney Kapoor for alleged copyrights, The petition states that Sri devi and Boney Kapoor’s BSK Network and Entertainment Pvt Ltd had stolen his script and used for their movie ‘Wanted’. He clearly states that he had submitted his copyright script to the company in 2004 in process of making movie but it was reject by the company. A local court has issued non-bailable warrant against both of them after they failed to appear before the court.

Intresting thing was ‘Wanted’ is a remake of Telugu blockbuster Pokiri, Boney kapoor bought the rights for a record price from original director Puri Jagannadh.Pokiri was released in 2006 but the petitioner claims that the he had submitted his copyright script in 2004 to the company.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate B D Bharti, ordered them to appear on November 22^nd before the court.
