Ranbir-Katrina disgrace the National Anthem

Promos of the upcoming film Raajneeti featuring the National Anthem are out and controversies have begun to court the film.

According to sources, certain quarters have expressed concern over the way some cast members are standing while reciting the anthem. The body language of a few actors seems to have become the new wrath for the filmmakers.

The actors, who have come under heavy criticism includes Ranbir Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpai and Katrina Kaif. Theirbody language is so casual that many feel the actors should have shunned the bored look on their face during this important part of the film.


As per the instructions laid by National Anthem of India it is clearly specified that, whenever, the Anthem is sung or played; the audience shall stand to attention.

The only people, who appear to have followed the instructions dedicatedly, are filmmaker Prakash Jha, actors Ajay Devgn and Arjun Rampal.
